Admission to the First Year Classes of Diploma in Engineering & Technology through JEXPO-2020 and Second Year Classes of Diploma in Engineering & Technology through VOCLET-2020. This is for information of all concerned that JEXPO-2020 & VOCLET-2020 will be held as per the following schedules. Application form and information brochure will be available from the Polytechnics mentioned below against payment of requisite application fee in CASH. Candidates may also apply online through the Council’s website.

JEXPO-2020 Examination should be of 2 hours duration (from 10-00 A.M. to 12 noon) with total 100 marks (Mathematics-50, Physics-25, Chemistry-25). Latest revised syllabus on Mathematics and Physical Science upto Class X under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) shall be followed for JEXPO–2020. Type of question paper is MCQ. VOCLET-2020 Examination should be of 2 hours duration (from 01-30 P.M. to 03-30 P.M.) with total 100 marks (Mathematics-20, Physics-20, Chemistry-20, Mechanics-20, Computer Science-20). The latest revised syllabus of West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training] for (10+2) examination shall be followed for VOCLET-2020. Type of question paper is MCQ. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, from the marks obtained for correct answers. Different Reservations i.e. SC, ST, PC, OBC etc. are also maintaining as per Government Orders. As per Kanyashree Scheme the Kanyashree enrollees will get 50% waiver (i) in the cost of Admission Form of JEXPO-2020 and VOCLET-2020, (ii) in Registration Fees and (iii) in Counseling Fees of the students of Government, Government Sponsored and Self-financed Polytechnics. Also Kanyashree enrollees will get priority for accommodation in Women’s Hostels of Government Polytechnics where hostel facility is available. Tuition Fee for Government Polytechnic institutes is Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) per month. In compliance with the Government Notification, 5% of the intake capacity shall be filled up on supernumerary basis under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme.
